This week at the Legiou:,seninars held
By Rene Brochu
Last Wednesday
evening was a day for
seminars as three of
thein took place at our
Legion. Poppy, sports,
and PRO representatives
from our Zone gathered
to discuss and develop
fresh and revitalized
methods of approach
towards these Legion
matters. It was pleasing
,to note that Associate
Members were present
from other Branches.
Thanks to comrades
Chambers and Brochu, a
lunch was served con-
sisting of hot roast beef,
gravy, salad, and mashed
potatoes. The Zone
delegates were indeed
pleased with the tasty
lunch so well prepared.
Thanks also to comrade
Gladys Chambers and
comrade Gord Tait for
helping to clean up the
dishes and tidy up the
kitchen.
There was a slow up in
our TOW this past week,
understandably so, as our
attendance draw has
started from scratch
again. Comrade
Annabelle Bushell's
name was drawn but
unfortunately for her, she
had not registered during
last week. Our raffle
prize went to a welcomed
customer as Comrade
Reg Smith went home.,
with the goodies.
Sunday saw the post-
poned fall golf tour-
nament take place. The
weather was not the best,
