Congratulations goes to
Comrade Slim Lacroix,
our first vice-president,
who won the attendance
draw of $180.50. We're
pleased that the winnings
went to one of our regular
patrons. The Raffle prize
went to another hard
working volunteer
helping Associate
Members, Comrade
Steve Cooke, who went
home with the goodies.
The TGIF night was
again a real success with
many of our regular
patrons attending.
A reminder to all dart
players, the fall season
starts on October 5th at 8
p.m., so sharpen up your
eyesight and your dart
tips for another fine
season of sports activity.
Let's not forget Mens
Euchre either as it will
get going again on
October 10th. Contact
your Chairman Comrade
Graham Yeats or leave
your name at the Bar.
At our Regular

services to assist the
Playhouse.
The Playhouse, which
has an excellent location
in which to hold a sale,
has accumulated some
surplus inventory.
However, the bulk of the
merchandise will be on
consignment. "We are
not soliciting donations",
said Playhouse Manager,
James Murphy. "Our
objective is to hold a
serious consignment sale
of goods, usable or
collectable merchandise.
Hopefully there will be
something to interest
everyone".
In addition, chili, hot
dogs and apple pie is
being prepared for sale
by friends 'and neigh-
bours of the Playhouse.

Our thanks is also in
