Bayfield community news At the Clan Gregor apartments, a surprise :party was held for Mrs. Dorothy Brunsdon, who celebrated her 80th birth - .day. This party was very special as it was arranged by telephone, secretly, by Mrs. Bette Holdway of Dallas, Texas, for her mother. Music and a sing song of old favourites were enjoyed with Mrs. Douglas accompanying on the lovely new- organ. Card games were played and lunch included bir- thday . cake . and ice cream. Mrs. Elizabeth Hunkin and Mrs. Marie Douglas of Teeswater spent Friday and Saturday with Mrs. Jay Ball. Mrs. Sadie Murney and Mrs. William Hart spent Friday visiting friends in Seaforth. .Mr. and Mrs. Ken McClean of Hensall visited with their aunt Mrs. Rita Upshall last week. All of the Clan Gregor residents are pleased to welcome back Mr. Reg York from his two week vacation. We missed you Reg.
