What may have seemed to be the aftermath of a practical joke was actually the
planned hcene in front of the Wesley -Willis United Church on Sunday. Two
tractors and plows graced the church lawns on Sunday to set the mood for the
International Plowing Match church service. Many of the dignitaries from the
upcoming match joined the regular congregation in the morning worship.

• Our attendance draw
went untouched at last
Friday night's drawing
as Gary Black had failed
to ' register during the
week.
Comrade Laura Anstett
was the lucky winner of
the raffle prize and went
home with a delicious
treat. Our TGIF was a
great financial success
and as the fall season
approaches, more and
more of our regular
patrons are now coming
out. To those who came
late and didn't eat much,
we say sorry, we'll try
and do better next
Friday.
Our entertainment
chairman Harvey Hayter
was x pleased with the
attendance at the social
last Saturday evening.
The Royalaires provided
us with fine dance music
all evening, and our raffle
prize went to one of the
Band members.
Our thanks to Comrade
Harvey • and his en-
tertainment committee
for a very pleasant
evening. Our guests from
Calgary and, Scotland
thoroughly enjoyed the
evening,
