The 20th annual
Memorial Service of
Hope Chapel Cemetery,
Hullett Township, was
held last Sunday af-
ternoon with the
Reverend John Roberts
of Belgraye as guest
speaker.
' Miss Alison Roberts of
Belgrave accompanied
on her accordion for the
singing of the hymns. The
opening hymn was Guide
Me 0 Thou Great
Jehovah and the scrip-
ture lesson was read from
St. John llth chapter.
In his inspiring
message, Mr. Roberts
pointed out that people
are bonded together with
a common bond of suf-
fering and also of
bereavement and the
Christian should react
with thankfulness and
faith. In closing, Mr.
Roberts stated that death
is the horizon of life and if
one travels in faith as far
as the horizon, one 'still
journeys on

Our mistake
In a story in last week's
paper on page 11 about
the Bayfield ratepayers'
association meeting, a
mistake occurred
A paragraph near the
end of the story should
have read: "In the
continuing lengthy
discussion, Evelyn
Galbraith pointed out
that according to the 1969
bylaw of the village of
Bayfield, and attached
map shows the river flats
zoned as develop-
mental."

regrets any in-
convenience this may
have caused.
