Goderich lady wins $1,000 Mrs. Ed Jeffrey of Goderich was the top winner at the Clinton Monster Bingo on Monday night. Mrs. Jeffrey pocketed the $1,000 jackpot. Other special winners included: Louise Tideswell, Clinton, the $156.75 special; Mrs. Mary Mulaney, Dublin, the $124.50 special and the $147.25 special was split between Muriel Buyers of Clinton and William Ryan of Goderich. Individual winners of $50 in the regular games included Barbara Win- teringham, Mitchell; Florence Elliott, Clinton; Mrs. Annie Cronin, Dublin; Louise Tideswell; Del Geddes, Goderich; Stella Peacock, Clinton; Tom Morgan, Exeter. But low and behold, Marg Counter was unsuccessful as she missed out on the at- tendance draw. The pot has now built up to $77.75, and to qualify, all you have to do is come to the Legion and register once a week. Ali members are eligible to participate, including the Ladies Auxiliary.
