The Sixth Munn
Reunion was held at the
Hensall Corrin'unity Park
on Saturday July .8 with
approximately 85 people
in attendance: The sports
organized by Lloyd and
Vera Fletcher, Kirkton
who were unable to at-
tend, were ' well run by
Bill and Helen Tinney of
Hensall, Facilities of the
Park were much enjoyed
by both children and
parents.
Harold and . Phyllis,
Kippen, are to be com-
mended for the excellent
organization of tables and
food • Gordon T. Munn,
Stoney Creek, capably
acted as chairman in the
absence of Greg Munn,
London, who was ill.
Barb Prang, Brant-
ford was secretary-
treasurer. It was decided
to hold the next Munn
Reunion at the Hensall
Park on the second
Saturday in July, 1980.
MacArthur reunion
The annual MacArthur
reunion was held at the
home 6f 'Mr. and Mrs.
Hilton Laing in Exeter
with over 30 attending.
Mr. and Mrs. = Evert
Sligtenhorst of Zurich
were in charge of the
sports. Tables were
arranged on the.lawn and
a delicious supper en-
joyed by all.
Members attended
from Niagara Falls,
Blenheim, Zurich,'
Hensall and Exeter.
West Germany
man visits

MacKinnon RSM of 3rd
Battalion RCR Baden
West Germany visited his
mother, Mrs. Janet
MacKinnon along with
his brother Bill of Byron
on Saturday.

The 125th birthday
committee and interested
persons, about 40, met in
the Community
Memorial Hall. The first
vice-president Allan
Craig was in charge as
the president Fred
Lawrence was a patient
in Victoria hospital,
London. The minutes
were adopted as read by
the secretary Mrs.
Eleanor Bradnock.
The treasurer Jim
Schneider gave the
financial statement,
showing a good profit
from the tractor pull. For
the bicycle draw $125 was
the profit and the T -Shirt
sales gave about. $334.
profit. It was moved that
a donation be sent to the
St. John's Ambulance
and a sincere thank you
be sent to all those who
helped in any way to
make the tractor pull
such a success.
A representatii'e from
an advertising company
was present.and spoke on
articles which he could
have available.
Mrs. Donald Haines
spoke on the pork bar-
becue on July 19th and
asked for picnic tables for
those who wished to sit
outside after serving
themselves at the
smorgasbord dinner
being served from 5-7

Taylor reunion
The annual Taylor
reunion was held recently
at the summer cottage of
Bill and Joyce Boussey,
Bayfield, with a good
attendance. Games and
sports were enjoyed by
all.
Tim Proctor, son of
Lynn and Clare Proctor,
London was the youngest
baby present. Dana
Taylor, Stratford.,won the
guessing contest.
Roo and Ina Brown and
family, Newtonville
came the farthest
distance, and spent the
weekend with Mrs. Ruth
Taylor, Clinton.
Dana Merle Bean, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice
Bean of RR 1, Auburn,
graduated from the
University of 'Guelph on
June 2 %with a I)achelor of
Science degree In
agriculture. Dana is .a
graduate of the Goderich
District Collegiate
Institute.

Walkerburn Club
The 59th annual
meeting of the Walker -
burn Club was held last
week ,at the home of Mrs.
Joe Verwey. Mrs. Lloyd
McClinchey opened the
meeting and Mrs. Ver-
wey led in the Lord's
Prayer. Mrs. . Lloyd
McClinchey gave a
reading and the minutes
read by the secretary
Mrs. Lloyd Penfound.
The roll call was an-
swered by eleven
members paying their
membership fees.
The election of officers
took place and the new
officers are as follows:

Plans were made to
hold the annual picnic,
one week early, July 20 in
the evening at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Ted
Hunking. Mrs. Leonard
Archambault and Mrs.
Lloyd McClinchey will be
in charge' of lunch
arrangements and .the
program will be in charge
of Mrs. Ronald Gross and
Mrs. Lloyd Penfound.
The draw prize donated
by Mrs. Lloyd Penfound
was won by Mrs. John
Snyders.
The program for the
afternoon was in charge
or Mts. Art Wright and
Mrs. Joe Verwey. They
had an interesting contest
- "Name their wives."
After singing Grace,
lunch was served by Mrs.
Ron Gross, Mrs. Lloyd
Penfound and the
hostess, Mrs. Verwey.

after another week as a
patient in Victoria
hospital, London.

a patient in Clinton
Public hospital. We wish
her a speedy recovery.
