Mr. and Mrs. Norman Alexander returned home on Thursday from a two - and -a -half week holiday in Kingston and Toronto and visited with hensister Mr. and Mrs. Ted Adams, Ottawa. Cpl. Richard Shaddick of Burnaby, B.C. "spent the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Allen Shaddick. On Sunday they all attended the Walkom family picnic in Windsor. Saturday evening visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Shobbrook were Mr. and Mrs. Rae Rosebush, Bobcaygeon and Mr, and Mrs. Perc Gibbings, Clinton. Weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Durnin were her sister Mrs. Edna Holmes, Dresden and daughter Doris Scratch, Detroit. On Sunday they all at- tended the parade of 85 antique cars in Hanover. Mr. and Mrs. Dave McLeod, Mitchell visited her sister Mrs. Olive Penfound -and attended the Ball's Cemetery decoration service on Sunday. Vacation Bible school is being held this week on Friday. All .are welcome to view the! work, on display at 10:30 a.m. The Bereari Unit of the UCW will meet at the church at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July, 11 for a meeting to be held at the home of Doris Andrews, Marnock Hill, Belgrave. The WI agriculture meeting will be held on Wednesday night, July 12 at 8 p.m. The speaker will he Robyn Theedom of the publicity committee from the plowing match. Rev. Stan McDonald was the guest speaker at a church service at Pine Lake on Sunday morning.
