It costs me $240.00 to live in a two
bedroom apartment where the carpets are
dirty and the walls a mess. Also, I had no
hot water for quite a while plus the time I
couldn't park i'n our underground garage
because of repairs which seemed to take
forever and a day, and to top it off there is
no street parking in this area.
When the building manager was con-
tacted he was less than pleased about the
allegations concerning the walls and car-
pets. According to him the carpets are all in
excellent shape and the walls were
professionally cleaned last October.
He str9ngly accuses you of being very
Hyperbolic (exaggerating excessively) and
he apparently intends to continue to ignore
your "unfounded complaints".

A couple of months or so ago, I bought a
car for cash, which was a private sale. This
car has been nothing but a headache ever
since. It's once again in the garage, and my
mechanic tells me, that the 'mileage has
been altered.
I've managed to get hold of the former
owner, but he strongly denies this. I feel
that I have been taken...what can I do?
Unless you can obtain a service receipt
from some place where this car had work
done and it showed a higher mileage than
when you bought it, then there's nothing
that you can do, to our knowledge. i

While on vacation in the States, I became
suddenly very ill necessitating emergency
hospital treatment.
I paid their itemized bill by cheque ex-
pecting to be reimbursed by OH I P when I
returned to Canada, however time goes by
and all I keep getting is the run-around from
OH I P as they refuse to•accept my hospital
receipt or cancelled cheque as proof of
payment.
I don't know why but they insist on me
sending a signed statement by the doctor
who attended me in the hospital. I've
written this hospital three times now with
this request but have been completely
ignored.
We have no explanation for the long delay
in you getting the necessary signed'
statement from the hospital, but we have
been assured that it has finally been mailed
to you.
