Is this true? Government cheques are supposed to be returned to the sending office, because if the person expecting the cheque has already reported its non arrival, then a duplicate one has to be processed and sent. This could cause quite a mix up, particularly if both were cashed. The reason that this type of mistake does sometimes occur is due to the fact, that if two cheques are stuck together a machine automatically puts them in the same envelope. As the owner of a small business I have just discovered that I have authorized an ad to go in the "Yellow directory". I originally thought that this was the Bell Yellow Pages, but now I'm wondering if this "Yellow Directory" is on the "up and up." Any information that you can give me will be. greatly appreciated, thank you. Presumably the "Yellow Directory" to which you refer, is the Yellow Directory of Canada. As far as we know the firm is quite authentic with their head office located in Oshawa. Their sales manager is John Neil. Another apparently legitimate advertising directory is known as Kelly's Yellow Card Directory which is a division of Researched Advertising Inc of Cambridge, Ontario.
