NOTICE
OF APPLICATION
to The Ontario Municipal Board by The
Corporation of the Town of Clinton for ap-
proval of By-law No. 6 for 1978, being a By-
law to amend the land use by-law of the
Town of Clinton and being By -Law No. 15
for .1970, pursuant to Section 30 of The
Planning Act.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the
Town of Clinton intends to apply to The Ontario
Municipal Board pursuant to the Provisions of Section
30 of The Planning Act for approval of By-law No. 6 for
1978 passed on the 13th day of March, 1978, and being a
by-law to amend By-law No. 15 for 1970 (the zoning by-
law). The full operative text of the by-law is as follows:
"1.
By-law No. 15 for 1970 for The Corporation of the Town
of Clinton is hereby amended to the extent that the
following provision is added to the regulations under
Zone 3 residential designation, particularly following
regulation 12.4, so that the following paragraph shall
be deemed part of the said By-law:
"12.5
Notwithstanding anything herein con-
tained, semi-detached and horizontal
multiple attached dwellings may be
separated to give distinct ownerships to
the various dwelling units by lot lines in
production of the lines of party walls
providing the aggregate square foot area
continues to comply with the requirements
of this By-law and each unit hos a minimum
of 20 feet frontage on a street and each
unit has the required parking on the parcel
containing'the unit.
"2.
This By-law shall come into force on the passing thereof
subject to the approval of The Ontario Municipal
Board."
ANY PERSON may, within fourteen(14) days after the
first publication of this Notice, send by registered mail
or deliver to the Clerk of the Town of Clinton notice of
his objection to approval of the said by-law, if any,
together with a statement of the grounds of such ob-
jection.
ANY PERSON wishing to support the application for ap-
proval of the by-law may, within fourteen (14) days af-
ter the first publication hereof, send by registered mail
or deliver to the Clerk of the Town of Clinton notice of
his support of the said by-law together with a request
for notice of any hearing that may be held giving also
the name and address to which such notice should be
given.
THE ONTARIO M't,INICIPAL BOARD may approve of the
said by-law but, before doing so, It may appoint a time
and place when any objection to the by -lave will be con-
sidered. Notice of any hearing that may be held will be
given only to persons who have filed an objection or
notice of support and who have filed an objection or
notice of support and who have left with or delivered
to the Claris undersigned the address to which gotice of
hearing is to be sent.
THE LAST DATE FOR FILING OBJECTIONS will be April
28, 1978.
