Novice swimmers and the Public school seeks skates • There are many children at the Vanastra Public School who would like to try skating but who do not have skates that fit properly. If you have old skates at home that you would be prepared to either loan to us or even better still donate to the school - we would make every attempt to get as many children as possible involved in skating. If you are able to help, please send the skates to school. If you want them back please label them with your name and address. On Monday, March 6th, a very successful Kindergarten registration was held at the Vanastra Public School. Many of our new pupils will be coming to school for a morning later in the spring to find , out what "a day in school" is really like. Our dog population is again on the increase. Please make certain your dog is kept at home. We do not want the animal control officer to impound YOUR dog!
