Morning prayer was held in
St. James Church on Sunday
morning with Ray and Ken
Wise receiving the offering
and Rev. Bennett in charge of
the service.
There will be no service this
Sunday at St. James but the
congregation will join with
their sister church in Bayfield
for the Mothering Sunday
service at 10 a.m.
A social time will be held
after the service in the
Trinity Parish Hall where the
two congregations will
partake in the specially
baked Simnel Cake. This
receiving is an old tradition in
the Anglican Communion.
Two ladies from the ACW of
the Trinity Anglican Church
will bake this cake for
everyone to taste.

played several hands of cards
and received a cup of tea for
their donation to the Hobo

going everyone, it's a fun way
to spend an evening.

30. In memoriam
REID - In loving memory of a
dear wife, mother and grand-
mother, Mrs. Fred Reid, who
passed away one year ago,
March 5, 1977:
We knew little when we woke that
morn,
The sorrow that day would bring,
The call was sudden, the shock
was severe,
To part with one, I loved so dear,
She didn't have time to say
farewell,
Or for me to say goodbye,
She had gone before we realized,
And only God knew why.
Each time I look at your picture,
You seem to emile and say,
Don't cry I'm only sleeping,
We'll meet again some day.
Sadly missed and ever
remembered by her husband and
family. —9x
