Clinton Mustang goaltender Dean Ryan snatches a puck
from a Listowel attacker during last Friday night's hockey
game against the Cyclones, which Clinton won 4-1. Ryan's
outstanding game in net, making many spectacular saves,
kept Clinton in the game, and provided fans with one of the
most exciting games seen here in some time. (News -Record

Stangs goaltending helps to beat Nips
By Bryan Marriage
Solid goaltending by
Clinton's Dean Ryan enabled
the Clinton Mustangs to beat
their nearest threat, the
Listowel Cyclones, last
Friday night by a score of 4-2.
A breakaway in the third
period by Listowel's Rent
Norman in which Ryan
played it perfectly, set the
stage for the Mustangs vic-
tory and Paul Priestap scored
the insurance goal into an
empty Listowel net with 11
seconds to go..
Both teams scored once in
the first period with Clinton
scoring the first goal by Mike
Gibbings assisted by Priestap
and McLean.
The Mustangs clearly
outplayed their opponents in
the opening period, but
powerplay goal at the 13 -
minute mark enabled
Listowel to tie the game.
In the second period, Neil
Colquhoun gave Clinton
another one goal lead but with
only six . seconds left in the
period, some sloppy defen-
sive play by the Mustangs
enabled Paul Bufelg of the
Cyclones to break in on Ryan
and tie the game.

Selling Your House....
WHICH EXTRAS ARE IN
THE. DEAL?
There have been instances where house sales have fallen
apart because of "extras."
"Extras" are those appliances or furnishings which are riot
considered to be an integral part of the house or property.
They can run the gamut from carpeting and drapes to lighting
Main -es and the refrigerator. As the seller, It Is wise to make
a list as early as possible of the Items you'll bo including as
part of the purchase price, those which you absolutely must
take with you, and those Items on which you'll negotiate
with the buyer.
Part of our normal procedure when taking on your listing Is
to double-check on i'extras" you might be overlooking.
Would It be better to take your washer and dryer, sell them
to the buyer at a bargain price, or Include them as part of the
house package? Would the CB antenna on your roof bring an
extra few dollars, dr would It be worthwhile for you to
remove it? Would the buyer really be willing to pay extra if
you leave your custom made shower curtain? Handling "ex-
tras can maks the difference between smooth transaction,
or one which leaves a bad taste With all portio*.
