making room in our hearts
•
for Jesus Christ - we can
make time for Him in our
conversation, lifer plans,
entertainment, time, gift
giving and in our sorrows.
Then we shall leave Christ-
mas behind as a new person,
"returning by another way."

very lovely solo, "0 Come to
my heart, Lord Jesus" and

A beautiful devotional was
given by Mrs. Jack Drysdale
and Mrs. Roger Venner
illustrating that giving a gift
from the heart at Christmas
time, like kindness, is the
greatest gift we can give, The
offering is to be given to the
Family and Children's
Services.
To conclude the evening,

Queensway nursing home

Christmas lunch was served

The service at the Hensall
United Church on Sunday was
conducted by Rev. Don Beck
with Mrs. John Turkheim at
the organ.
This was the third Sunday
in Advent and the third ad-
vent candle was lit by Dave
Kyle; this candle is pink, in
contrast to the others and
signifies the joy in Christmas.
The choir sang the anthem
"Shepherds on the hillsid"
and the title of the sermon
was "And What of Us?" In
every crisis we can either
turn to God or away from
Him - we can no ..longer
claim our lives as our own if
we give God control.
