Consumers should realize
that buying food items im-

to involve families in the act
of worshipping God together,
There are parts of the service`
where we encourage children
to ,participate and places in
the service that hopefully
challenge the adults to a
Christ Centred life style.

Hullett Happenings
Pictures
The individual and class
pictures that were taken
earlier this year were
returned to the, students last
Monday.
A special 8 by 10 bonus
portrait was available along
with the rest of the pictures.
The students can decide
whether to keep all the pic-
tures or just some of them.
• Orange drink
This year the students of
Hullett have orange drink
available as well as chocolate
and white milk. The drink
costs 15 cents and tickets are
sold at the office.
A few weeks before, a
survey was taken and most
parents said they would buy
it, if available.
Parent Interviews
After school and at night on
November 29 and November
30, in the morning, the
parents came to the school for
interviews with the teachers
to see how their children were
doing.
For parents with pre-
schoolers, some 'of the
students from the higher
grades came to the school and
baby sat them. '
Guest speaker
On Friday, December 2,
Mr. Bundy, a professional
magician, came to our school
to show the grade 3 class
some of his magic tricks. The
class had recently studied the
level six book about magic.
After, each child in the
class went ,to the front and
presented his or her trick.
The entire class thoroughly
enjoyed his visit.
Selling your house....
WHAT DID YOU IMAGINE?
Remember the day when you first saw your present house? If
you're like most people, you probably walked away with a
feeling of excitement at. the potential for turning the "or-
dinary" into a "dream house."
Perhaps some of those early dreams have remained un-
fulfilled over the years. If so, your dreams could be just the
ticket in helping sell the house to a prospective buyer.
For example, when we take prospects to visit properties,
they obtain a solid background knowledge of those special
elements which the prospective buyer will find attractive. It
could be that your "dreams" for your house were similar to
the present day wishe4 of a prospect. By preparing a shop-
ping list of improvement possibilities for your house, you'll
make it easy to demonstrate to the prospect precisely what
can be done with a lot of imagination and, very little money.
Perhaps you went so far as to have an architect prepare sket-
ches'for an addition, or a contractor submit bids for finishing
the basement or adding a swimming pool. Dig out the paper!
work! Even though these and other projects were never ac-
complished, the apparent ease with which a crew owner can
pick up from where you left off can be turned into a major
selling point.

too," said Doug Fortune,
chairman of the Huron
County Federation Consumer
Liaison Committee.
"Consumers should be
given the opportunity of
choosing between Canadian
produced food products and'
those that are imported.
Imported' products are not
necessarily produced under
the high standards that are
required here in Canada,"
stated Gordon Hill, a Huron
County farmer from Varna.
Delegates pointed out that
the label "Canada No. 1" does
not mean that items with This
label on them were produced
in Canada.
Ontario Agriculture.
Minister, Bill Newman, told
the convention of a program
called "Foodlands Ontario"
initiated 'by the Ontario
government to promote
agricultural products from
this province.
Frank Drea, Minister of
Correctional Institutions has
already announced that ,
Ontario institutions • will be
serving only fruit juices
produced in this province.
Guest speaker, Tony
Dechant, president of one of
the largest farm
organizations in the' United
States, the National Farmers
Union, expressed this same
view by noting that United
States consumer groups are
strong supporters of
agricultural producers.
