progressive euchre party in
the local hall on Thursday
evening with Mr. Jock

Christmas Program
A large crowd of parents,
grandparents and friends
gathered in the ,Sunduy
School Hall to enjoy the an-
nual Christmas program,
which was enjoyed by all.
The program began with a
performance by puppets
presented for the children,
but greatly enjoyed by the
odu|ts, as they watched the
most animated responses to
the puppets' actions. The
puppets were presented by
Mrs. Sybil Miller and Miss
Donna Miller of Seaforth. The
u arten appropriately
reseed for the occasion sang
"Away in the Manger"They
were under the direction of
Mrs. Joan Grunewald and
Miss Mary Jane Scott.
Miss Nancy Taylor played
a piano solo. The primary
class dressed as choir
children sang, "babe in a
meoger'', and the class was
under the direction of Mrs.
Barbara Moffat and Mrs.
Vina Brodie. Mrs. Barbara
Livermore was the ac-
companist. Nancy Taylor and

Joanne Grunnw'ald recited a
poem. The Junior Girls'

Santa made his appearance
and distributed the gifts. He
was very ably assisted by Mr.

Elgin Thompson and Mr.
W.D. Wilson. Rev. E.S.
Stephens was the Master of
Ceremonies for the program.
