Mr. and Mrs. Larry Jones,
Bob, Scott, Brian and Leanne
spent the weekend with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norm
Talbot, celebrating the bir-
thday of Brian and the
wedding anniversary of Janet
and Norm Talbot. They also
attended the farewell service
of Rev. Brian Harrison at the
Bayfield Baptist Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Talbot of Halifax Nova
Scotia, visited her father Mr.
Ray Schell of the Clan Gregor
apartments, and also other
relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Norm
Talbot and Mr, and Mrq Bill
Talbqt on Monday evening.
Our sympathy is extended
to Mrs. Les Armstrong and
family in the loss of a loved
husband and father.
Mrs. Eva Darnbrough and
a friend from Lucan spent
two weeks visiting in
Moosejaw,Saskatchewan.

Mrs. Mary Weston celebrated her 91st birthday at the Blue Water Rest Home recently.
Attending the celebration were several members of Bayfield bridge club of which Mrs.
Weston was a lone time member. Seated at the table are Esther Makins. Mrs. Weston and
Dorothy Weston. In the second row (left - right) are `Phyllis Heard, Fern Baker,
Jessie Blair, Greta Scotchmer, Ethel Knight, Jean Lindsay and Mary Waldon. The back
row (left -right) consists of Ruby UnIac, Ruth Makins, Donna Westlake and Mary Clark.

For. the, fellowship
gathering after the service,
everyone was welcomed to
the Sunday School room
where a light lunch was
shared and a lovely tribute
was read to the Harrisons by
Mr. Asa Steckle, which was
written by Lillian Steckle and
expressed the sentiments of
the entire gathering with a
great deal of thanks to them
for all the blessings they
helped us to secure and tthe
love they have shared with us
for the past two years.
