A total of 10 seniors and 12
intermediates. registered
Wednesday Oct. 19.
For perhaps the first time,
the senior skaters are now
allowed 1/2 hour for group'
lessons - be it precision or
stroking sessions or just new
jumps and spin's. It is taught
by the head professional, Mr.
Guy Gordon.
This has been , made
possible by some very con-
centrated planning on the
part sof the executive par-
ticularily secretary Carol
Fox, who is devoted to the
sport itself and the
development of Clinton area
children especially.
From .,the financial view
point–the" club is grateful to
the Clinton Kinettes, Kin-
smen, Lions, and the Beta
Sigma Phi Sorority. Thanks
again, Clinton. Better club
spirit exists when a class can
have fun -time learning in a
group.
The intermediates have
enjoyed group lessons ,now for
several years but because of
such a tight budget it wasn't
offered to the seniors -
Parents and any skaters

ratio of strengths per hour
was slightly out of proportion.
However, with only one-
third of the members
registered they made a good
showing with several
members completing the
,;,eight hours. A total of $325 has
been pledged •by sponsors
which will be appreciated by
the club.
During the skate-a-thon, 56
registrations for the begin-

received. Anyone who still
wishes to join the club please
