English students rneetBard
On September 28th and
October 14th, CHSS sent
busloads of English students
to Stratford where ``Richard
III" was seen by fourth and
fifth' •year students, and a
couple of weeks later, second
and third year English
students saw "As You Like
It".
Aftera film on the. history
of the Stratford .Festival, the
participants went to the
theater for the matinee.
Both "Richard IIl" and the
comedy earned standing
ovations from the student
audiences. Student matinees
have been offered since 1958
and are always successful,
with a total of over a million
.,r,•ncird the
Stratford theater through this,
program so far.
Rates for the students are
lower than regular ones, and
students get a bonus by
having the opportunity to ask
, questions of the actors after
the performance. Both trips
left indelible impressions on
their participants.
Your weekly "horroscope"
Aries: This week you're in
for a big surprise, especially
'where your emotions are
concerned. It looks like you'll
be doing a lot of thinking
about that person you are
going with. Don't do anything
irrational and things will be
alftight.
Taurus: You and an Aries
person are going to get
together. However, take hint
from Aries message. You
have the chance for a
romantic relationship but
don't figure you can get past
him -her. Don't get too tied
down er you'll find. your
studies fading away to
nothing; they're very
possessive. (Aries is, very
possessive)
Gemini: Looks like you're
in trouble with relatives and
friends this week. A message'
from someone will start this
whole thing and you'll be up
to your neck in it. Help from
an older person would be
srdvisable.
Cancer: Mainly money,
and once more a relationship
is in the picture for you.
You'll be spending money on
someone who doesn't mean
all that much to you. YOU'RE
BEING TAKEN AD-
VANTAGE OF and if I were
you I'd get• out before it's too
late.
Leo: Everything is going to
be great for you this week.
Love, independence,
originality, kind of un-
believable isn't it? Well it's
true so let everyone know

The reincarnation of Kiss
Alive.
Been to the Elm lately? If
you have, you must have
experienced the rebirth of
Kiss. Hate to disappoint you
but it wasn't. That was the
performance of Michigan
band "Zipper".
The four guys, John
Davids, bass -lead vocals;
Rusty bell, drums; Gary
Richards, lead guitar; and
Paul Edwards rhythm guitar,
have been together for four
years.
Their interest in music goes
way back to those Saturday
mornings in front of the boob
tube watching "The
Monkees". As' they got older
the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and
Aerosmith influenced their
style.
But what happened ... why
did they change to Kiss? Not
to worry they hate Kiss.
Drummer Rusty Bell says
that it's just a gimmick to
gait an audience. Well it's
working.
They've played in West
Virginia, Southern Ontario
and with their road manager,
and lighting technician Steve
LaCleave, are heading' for
North Eastern America.

you're around and in your
own way, unique. You'll get
the right results.
Virgo: You're another
who'll be having trouble with
relatives this week. They'll be
trying to 'butt' into your plans
for the future. However,
stand fast and be stubborn,
and they'll leave you and your
future, alone.
Libra : Your social life is
more active this week and
you have the opportunity of
starting something big with
either a Gemini or
Saggitarius. If you figure
something is good go after it,
and you'll get it. Don't settle
for less than the best.
Scorpio: Your school work
is causing problems. You're,
depressed and unsure of
yourself and you need
someone to help. Well, don't
worry; right around the
corner there is someone and
with his -her help you'll
become more aware that life
is better than it seems.
Saggitarius: It seems that
this is a good week for you,
too. Especially where your
creativeness is concerned:
it's going to be great! What
you had thought to be
unavailable is there, all you
have to do is ask.
Capricorn: The outlook for
your week isn't good at all.
You'll be in trouble with
relatives, friends, and even
worse' teachers. However,
you will have your girl -guy
and with her -him you'll be
able to stand the troubles.
Aquarius,: This week your
'steady' is in desperate need
of your help and' advice.
However, don't rush into a
decision that will cause you
both to have a disagreement.
Co-operate and together
you'll both find the way to
make things right.
Pisces: If you 'have a job
there is a possibility that this
week you will get a promotion
or a raise. You will be en-
trusted with a rather large
sum of money and you will
become more responsible
because of it. However, keep
your -eyes open for a Cancer
or Capricorn person they'll be
trouble.

The team combined well to
score the only points scored
thus far on Goderich and to
hold them to their least points,
scored in a game.

Noisy party; one to which
you are not invited.
Sparked brtwo touchdowns
passes from Jim McClure to
Danny McClure„ the team
appeared to be headed for a
come -from -behind 'upset of
the strong Goderich squad.
However, two costly fourth
quarter defensive penalties
on our part moved the ball
deep into our ,zone and led
directly to Goderich's fourth
touchdown.
The boys played extremely
good, football and are to be
commended.. for their im-
proved play. Certainly, this
game bodes well for our final
three contests.
Volleyball
The junior volleyball team
dropped their match to
Wingham last Wednesday
and lost their chance at first
place.
They then proceeded to
defeat Seaforth and finish
second in this division. They
now advance to Huron -Perth.
The senior boys dropped
both their matches to
Wingham and Seaforth and
are right out of it. The team
would like to thank Mr. Allen
for his intrepid coaching.
