Prior to sacrament the choir
sang "Let u,s break bread"
with Mrs. Allen Shaddick
choir leader and Mrs. Glenn
McGregor organist. Serving
sacrament assisting Rev.
McDonald were Dennis
Fothergill and Kevin Hulley,
serving the bread were Earl
Gaunt, Reg Lawson, Bert
Shobbrook and Margaret
Taylor and serving the wine
were Emerson Hesk, Jack
ghee, Harry Snell and Jack
amblyn.
The flowers on the
memoriam stand were placed
• in loving memory of Mrs.
Wm. Dodds of Seaforth by the
family. She was the grand-
mother of Glenn and Louise
McGregor. The messengers
met in the Sunday School
rooms during church time.
Mrs. 'John Radford was the
leader.

The meeting was, started
with the Explorer song and
purpose and Lisa Duizer and
Marni ' Gibbings read the
meaning of the Emblem.
D wn Flynn showed the
1plorer picture, Mrs.
Wright gave a Bible quiz and
Mrs. Duizer read •-a story
"hbw the Bible came -to us".
Cheryl Lyon read three
verses of Psalms.
Nominating and voting
followed: Laurel Duizer,
chief Explorer; - Suzanne

and Dawn Flynn, keeper of
the treasury.
The next meeting Brenda
Nesbitt and Laurel Duizer
will have the scripture and
games. There are two
suggestions for recreation
either bowling or a cook out.
Coasters were made and the
meeting closed with the
Explorer prayer.

having an appendectomy

Muskoka bus trip last
weekend going to Midland,
Sudbury, Cleveland House
Minett then to Manitoulin
Island.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Allen
spent several days last week
at Sudbury and Manitoulin
Island.

help crippled chillren - draw
was won by Shirley Lyon, 1st
prize a large terrarium and
2nd prize Ruth Shaddick, two
hand crocheted cushions.

Mr. and Mrs. Cy Murrell of
Orangeville visited on the

Vanastra, September 28th
and 29th. Others attending the
banquet on Thursday were

Vincent, Marjorie Duizer and
Hattie Wood.
The Berean Unit of the-
UCW will hold their meeting
on October 11 at 2 p.m. in the
ehurch hall.
The WI family affairs:,
meeting will be held at 8 p.m.
on October 12 with the 4-H
members and their mothers.
The guest speaker will be
Huron County Home
Economist, Miss Bird. Roll
call will be "something you
are learning from the
younger generation."
