The recreation 'council for
Goderich Township held their
monthly meeting on Thur-
sdya, September 22, at the
township office in
Holmesville.
Those attending the
meeting were chairman,
Grant Stirling; vice chair-
man, Doug Yeo; Art Bell,
Marion Powell, Hazel

September 24; Streakin Time,

London had his first lifetime
win. Janet Express won her
third in a row for Bob and

A letter from the Goderich
Figure Skating Club was read
requesting the township's
sponsorships, similar to what
has been offered to the
Clinton Figure Skating Club.
It was decided to hold this
letter until the next meeting,
pending further investigation
and discussion with the
township clerk, Ben
Whitely. LL
Participation for . the
township for the winter was
discussed. Crafts are
being set up for the ladies
again. Doug Yeo would like a
volunteex to manage the
volleyball group this winter.

Hazel McCreath reported
that the township WI will be
sponsoring two card parties a
month during the ,fall and
winter. They will also be
sponsoring"a variety night on
October 27 at the Holmesville
School.

at one of our six campuses.

Hullett and includes flags,
poetry, art, pictures, and
school assemblies.
If anyone is interested in
seeing these displays you
may go to the board office
beginning Thursday, Sep-
tember 22 and see them. It
will be up for three weeks.

On Wednesday, September
14, the grade four class went
on a trip around the school.
The ciildren went on this
trip to collect weeds and
study plants. This trip tied in
with their science studies.
