14 -hour telethon

On Saturday and Sunday,
October 1 and 2, ,CKNX-TV
and the Ontario Fehecraton
for the Cerebral Palsied ''til ' "
present a 14 -hour live
telethon. Funds raised during
this special program will be
directed to 'the:Participation
Lodge Project, near Holland
Centre in Grey County.
This facility will provide =
summer vacationop-
portunities for the multiply a
handicapped', while providing'
therapeutic and recreational
activities for the disabled.
During a similar telethon
held last fall, over $100,000
was raised for the project,*
and it is hoped that enough
funds can be raised this year
to begin construction,
The 14 -hour 'Parade of
Stars" will begin Saturday,
October 1st at 8 pm, and will
feature over 40 top stars from
Las' Vegas, Hollywood, New
York, Toronto and CKNX,
This is one entertainment ,
event that the entire family,
can enjoy and participate in.,.
