On Tuesday August 23rd the
children of the Tuckersmith-
Vanastra Day Nursery had
an enjoyable day at
Storybook Gardens in Lon-
don. Thirty-five children
boarded a Murphy's bus and
thanks to June Tompkins, the
driver, we had a smooth ride
to London.
Springbank Park provided
a beautiful setting for our
picnic before entering
Storybook Gardens. The
children had a' 'great time
going on the different rides
and seeing all the animals.
Thanks to the five mothers
and the three older children
who came along to help
supervise.
We would also like to thank
all the people who made our
White elephant sale a suc-
cess, making possible our trip
to Storybook.
