council decided last week.
The problem was brought
to the attention of council in a

Mr. Schoonbeek had rented
the photocopy of the Brussels
License to the Toronto driver
for a fee of $100 per month.,
The Transport Canada
letter -pointed out that this
was an $1175 profit for Mr.
Schoonbeek;
Members of council felt
Mr. Schoonbeek's license -
should immediately be
revoked. Reeve Cal Krauter
indicated that council could
not revoke the license, since
the village has no standing
by-laws governing the
operation of taxi cabs.
