The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cox, Bayfield and the groom is the son of Mrs. Pearl Plewis and the late Leslie Plewis, Gravenhurst. The ceremony was per- formed by Rev. J. Reddock. Mrs. Molly Cox accompanied 4the soloist' Mrs. Barbara Bosman who sang "Can't Live,A Day Without You- and "For All We -Know." .Given in marriage by her father,the bride looked lovely in a floor -length gown of polysheer organza cut on' princess lines arpd trimmed with rows of-e.mbrpid-ered lace edging. The key -hole neckline and leg of mutton `%leeves were accented .by appliqued and loosely tacked flowers_af white organza. The full-length train bordered with lace fell from the waistline. A butterfly headpiece trimmed with seed pearls and crystal beads held a floor sweeping veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of sweetheart roses blue and white carnations and baby breath. Sports were convened by Bill Pilgrim 8-10 year, Brian Pilgrim, Susie Van Egmond, Kim Bolger; 12-15 years, Teresa Foster, Glenda Bolger, Brenda Foster; 16-25 years, Bill Brasjen, Bill Collins, Miss Pat Pilgrim ladies' 'tick the slipper, Pat Pilgrim, Teresa Foster, Glenda Bolger; men's Kick the slipper: Bill Collins, Bill • w Pilgrim, Brian Pilgrim. A family history chart and pictures on display assisted in showing the younger generations just how they fitted into the family tree. The annual event started in 1937 and only three years Were missed during the Second World War period. The president, William Naegle, extended a warm welcome to all and secretary - treasurer's reports were read by Mrs. Dorris Warren.
