Brucefield firemen had a
very busy week, On Saturday
night, July 9, they were called ,
to Vanastra to an apartment
fire. Last Sunday, .morning
they were called to the farm
of Jack and Gordon Hen,
derson where their large
dairy barn Wtt's completely
destroyed. They were able to
,save the cattle and some of
the pigs, 'Combustion is
supposed to be the cause.
Recently the firemen were
also called to'a house fire at
Don Gerrits' . He has now torn
' down, his :'house which` was
partly destroyed and he plans
to rebuild.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Elliot
of London visited with
relatives in Brucefield and
Hayfield.

moved into his new home in
