The Goderich Jubilee 111
Horse Show, presented by the
Huron Trail Riders, drew 160
entries from the surrounding
area, and as far away as
Kitchener, London, Sarnia,
Tiverton, and Wellesley.
Contestants took away $600 in
prize money, on a day that
was perfect.
The feature event of the
Show, the 1/4 mile race, had
prize money of $100. In an
exciting and hotly contested
,.racer Jager Moore, owned
w -and -ridden by Larry Gei,sel of
Wellesley, emerged ' the
winner; with Eclipse, owned
and ridden by Doug
McCallum of Ingersoll a close
second. Third was Linda
Go,rding's entry of
Thamesford, Lucky Keno,
fourth was Chrokriy, ridden by
John Little of Goderich, and
fifth was Chico, owned by the
J &J Stables, Hayfield.

helping either to lead or assist
with the 4-H Clubs please
