collision with a garbage truck

off 72 Erie Street.
At the time, the truck was
being towed by Joseph Steep

and was travelling south-
bound on Erie Street.
Chief Westlake estimated
the damages to the Willey
car, a 19'73- Capri, to be at
least $1,500, the front end was
completely damaged. The left
side of the cab on the truck
had damages estimated at

Willey was taken to Clinton
Public Hospital, suffering
from a bruised chest and he
was later released.

Tour ZOO
Members of the Brucefield
and Kippen churches joined
Monday, with sevet'al friends
to make a trip to. the Metro
Toronto Zoo. This tour, which
was organized by Rev. E. S.
Stephens, was a truly fun day.
Members joined the tour at
Seaforth on Monday morning
anici after a leisurely trip to
Toronto spent the afternoon
touring this very excellent
zoo.
The group had a picnic
lunch at the zoo and thea
spent the afternoon wan,-.,
derin'g through the 710 acres.
in " the. late afterndon, they
boarded the train to tour the
Canadian Domain' in the zoo.
On the way home, the group
stopped in Guelph for supper
together.
All expressed the opinion
that it was one of the best
tours they had ever been on
and are just waiting for the
next day out.
