Seniors take bus trip At nine o'clock Wednesday morning 'the Bayfield Ever Young Sr. Citizens group gathered at the United Church and left shortly on a bus trip on one of Habkirk buses from Seaforth. Our bus driver was very congenial and added much to. the pleasure of our trip. At St. Jacobs we stopped for a smorgasbord dinner. •The food was plentiful and most delicious. Needless to say we did justice to the opportunity we had to con- sume all we wanted of this tasty repast. We made a tour of the building where we saw beautiful quilts, mats and antiques. At Kitchener we stopped at some of the shopping centres. We spent some time at Pioneer Village where we viewed historical records, the general store and many of the household and farming equipment used by our ' forefathers. We thought we were lucky to be living in this modern age when we realized the hard way much of the -work was done by our an- cestors. At Baden quite a number bought some of the good cheese made there to take home. At Stratford our bus driver * drove around by the river where we saw the swans, the theatre and other places bf interest. At the Ponderosa we again enjoyed a delicious meal and wete` ready for the drive home. Our president Harry Baker entertained with mouth organ selections and a sing -song along the way was enjoyed. Q Thanks was expressed to our bus driver, also to Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Makins who did much to help the President in the organizing and taking care of tran- sportation. All 39 members who took the trip agreed it was a very happy and pleasant outing.
