Stallions trample
Seaforth 's record
The Fleming Stallions
destroyed the Seaforth Pee

streak on vtay 30 in their first
regular league schedule
game. The Stallions downed
the home side by a score of 3 -
1 and this was a longtime first
for a Clinton Pee Wee team to
defeat the" Seaforth team.
Seaforth opened the scoring
when Dave Allen, a Clinton
defenceman, deflected a ball
into his own net. The Stallions
soon got a goal back when
Jim Fleming put Charlie
"The Boot" Wise in the clear
to beat the Seaforth net
minder. The half-time score
stood at 1 - 1.
Seaforth made one un-
successful raid on the Clinton
net early in the second half
and after that the Stallions
took over the game. Some
fine goal keeping from the
Seaforth net minder and
some sloppy finishing from
the Stallion forwards
prevented the score from
being a lot higher.
Charlie Wise got two ad-
ditional goals and achieved a
hat trick. This was his second
hat trick of the season and
brings his goal total up to 12 in
six games.
Other goal scorerPto date
are: John Elliott with three,
Ray Brown who has one,
Brian Tompkins, Brad
Forbes and Billy Tugwell who
have one each.
The boys take. on the St.
Columban tearh next Wed-
nesday, June 8 at Clinton with
ame time at 6:45 pm. Here
they hope to get their revenge
for their exhibition defeat
when they lost by a score of 5 -

The May 24 exhibitio idf
game saw the Clinton team
with 75 per cent of the play
but once again, they could not
take advantage of it. Scorers
for the Stallions were Brian
Tompkins, Charlie Wise and
John Elliott.
There is no news yet as to
whom or where the boys play
in the Ontario Cup which is
being held from June 11 - 15.
