Parker, Kim and Jennifer, Barbara Sinclair of London, Pam Parker of Dorchester, Joanne Smith, Mike Bell, Kevin Hodgins of Mossley, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. French, Mr. and 'M Mrs. E. Squire, Mr. and Mrs. C. Paulen,.Mrs. M. Liebler of Mitchell were Sunda,/ guests in the home of IMnr-. and Mrs. Wm, Parker. Mrs. Susie Pollock ac- companied Mr. and Mrs. Ken Pollok, jim and Jane of Hensall to Willowdale where they spent a few days with Mrs. Pollock's daughter, Bonnie, (Mrs. Curran and family.) Mr. and Mrs. Adam Flowers are home after spending four months in Largo, Florida. Mr. Flowers states that while there, he was pleased to meet nine people from Bayfield in one store while shopping one day. We were sorry that Mrs. a Flowers suffered a heart attack and pneumonia when in Florida. Her many friends hope that she will keep on regaining strength and continue improving till she enjoys the best of health. Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Anthony of Weston and Mrs. Jack McMeekin of Georgetown visited on Friday with their sister-in-law, Mrs. 14 Nina Haw and with their nephew., .Don Haw and Marilyn. Mrs. A. Warner's friends are glad to see her back from St. Petersburg, Florida where she and her son spent the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Flowers and little Joe of Toronto were recent visitors O. with Mr. and Mrs. Adam Flowers. Many parents and in- terested folk attended "The Travelling Magician" con- cert at Huron Centennial School, Brucefield presented by grades 6,7 and eight. Much credit is due these young °people for their excellent program and to all_• those involved in training them. Miss Nettie Sinclair of Seaforth spent a few days with her sister, Mrs. Cox and Dorothy. The members of the Ever Young Sr. Citizens group were pleased to have her attend their meeting on Thursday evening, Mr. and Mrs. T. Blackie have returned to their farm after spending some time in Goderich..i Mr. and Mrs. Howard Scotchrner, Robert and Lori and Carolyn of Chatham were at their home here on the weekend. Mrs. Greta Scot- chmer was a guest in the same home where they celebrated Howard's bir- thday. Mr. and Mrs. John Pounder and family of Welland were with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pounder on the weekend, also their daughter Mary Pounder of London. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Latimer of Weston were with Bishop W.A. Townshend, London and his daughter, Mary, Mrs. Friesen of Woodstock visited in the hohie• of Mrs. N. Haw on Monday and were also visiting with the former's brother, Mr. Ernie Town- shend and Mrs. Townshend, Portershill. Miss Linda Hudson, Lon- don, was a dinner guest in the R. Fitzsimons home on Sunday. Miss Lorene Langford and Mrs. Rider, Clinton visited Mrs. R. Fitzsimons on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Alberta Smith and Mrs. Gert Bolger Brussels spent Thursday visiting at the R. Fitzsimons home. They also spent Tuesday of the previous week in the same home. The Rev. G.H. and Mrs. Crosby of Mooretown visited Mrs. Jessie Blair on Monday and also visited with Mrs. Lucy Diehl who has been a patient in Clinton l;iospital for some time. Mr. and Mrs. George Heard visited with Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Ethel Knight on the\Herb Kirkham and the for - weekend. mer's father Emerson Heard Mrs. Reta Upshall of the Sr. of London, who is not en - Citizen Apartments visited joying the best of health. with friends in Varna on the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey McDougal are back after enjoying a holiday in Florida. Mr. McDougal is busy checking the Blue Bird boxes and is happy to find some of these birds nesting. Some new boxes have been set up also. Mrs. Elva Metcalf returned home on Friday after spending a•week in Toronto. We are sorry to report that Mrs. D. Reddoch is a patient in Victoria Hospital, London, eighth floor. While riding her bicycle on Friday evening she hit some gravel and was thrown to the ground. It, was' found that she had fractured her knee cap and is having a pin put in this Monday morning. It will be sometime before she is able to use her leg. Our sincerest sympathy goes out to her in this misfortune. Think all our winter travelers to the sunny south are home safely. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey MacDougall are home and Mr. and Mrs. George Clark are back and looking real well. Hope you had a real nice winter. Elliott chaired the business meeting which followed the luncheon arid annual reports were given by officers and standing con- veners, showing the splendid work the Institute had done during the past year. Mrs. W. Colclough con- vener of the nominating committee read the slate of officers for 1977-78 which was accepted as read. Rev. John Oestreicher was in charge. The Goderich Township Women's Institute will meet - Monday May 9 in the Holmesville School at 8 p.m. The guest speaker will be Elaine Townshend.
