shopping one day.
We were sorry that Mrs.
a Flowers suffered a heart
attack and pneumonia when
in Florida. Her many friends
hope that she will keep on
regaining strength and
continue improving till she
enjoys the best of health.

Travelling Magician" con-
cert at Huron Centennial
School, Brucefield presented
by grades 6,7 and eight. Much
credit is due these young

Mrs. Gert Bolger Brussels
spent Thursday visiting at the
R. Fitzsimons home. They

new boxes have been set up

Mrs. Elva Metcalf returned
home on Friday after
spending a•week in Toronto.
We are sorry to report that
Mrs. D. Reddoch is a patient
in Victoria Hospital, London,
eighth floor.
While riding her bicycle on
Friday evening she hit some
gravel and was thrown to the
ground. It, was' found that she
had fractured her knee cap
and is having a pin put in this
Monday morning. It will be
sometime before she is able
to use her leg. Our sincerest
sympathy goes out to her in
this misfortune.
Think all our winter
travelers to the sunny south
are home safely. Mr. and
Mrs. Harvey MacDougall are
home and Mr. and Mrs.
George Clark are back and
looking real well. Hope you
had a real nice winter.

The annual meeting of the
Clinton, Women's Institute
was held in the Board Room
of the Agriculture Office on
Thursday, April 28 com-
mencing with a noon lun-
cheon at 1 p.m.
Mrs. C. Elliott chaired the
business meeting which
followed the luncheon arid
annual reports were given by
officers and standing con-
veners, showing the splendid
work the Institute had done
during the past year.
Mrs. W. Colclough con-
vener of the nominating
committee read the slate of
officers for 1977-78 which was
accepted as read. Mrs. Leona
Holland conducted the
elections and new officers are

was in charge.
