Committee was held Thur-
sday, March 31 in Varna with
all 10 members present and
chairman Don Brodie in
charge. Reports were given
on the dance March 12th at
Hully-Gully.
A Stanley team has been
entered in the slow -pitch ball
campers league, • it was
reported by Doug McAsh and
Barry Taylor. Any men in the
township who are interested
in playing ball should call
Doug McAsh at 482-9236 for
further information. '
Ross Whittaker of Varna
agreed to be the co-ordinator
for this year's softball season.
Along with Doug McAsh and
Arnold Taylor, they will co-
ordinate games with the other
townships and be in charge of
the ball park lights.
Registration for ball has
been set up for the first three
weeks of April. This year
there will be a registration
fee of $3 per child or $5 per
family.
A registration form can be

week's paper which can be
mailed to Ross Whittaker,
Varna, Ont. Of if you wish,
there will be a ball
registration day on Saturday,
April 23rd in Varna Township
Hall from 9-12 a.m., at which
time you can bring the form
and fee.
Ross and his committee
will be looking for people to
coach boys or girls teams,
