said they thoroughly enjoyed
themselves. They both looked
well, and we are very happy
to have them home with us.

Brownies raise $89 at sale
Last Wednesday afternoon
the Brownies held a White
Elephant Sale and a Tea
Party in the Town Hall.
They also had a very at-
tractive table of homemade
cookies and squares and were
responsible for selling the
articles and serving of the
fancy decorated cupcakes
and coffee and tea.
Eighty-nine dollars was
realized from a fun afternoon,
half of which will go to Bunny
Bundle to help crippled kids

3rd meeting. Present were 11
members, our two ..leaders
and one visitor Cindy 'T'albot.
We opened our meeting
with , the 4-H pledge and we
were then shown how and also
had a chance to sew darts,
plain seams, french seams,
flat -fell seams and top stit-
ching. We closed with our 4-1-1
motto. Our next meeting was
Tuesday, March 29 in the

met Mon. evening and
finalized plans for their
Annual Bean Supper to be
held on Saturday, April 2.
This is the event when the
men of the Church prepare,
serve and clean up after, and
from all accounts, its a real

Lions contest to end Friday

McAlister and heard a paper
on "Emotions" delivered by

Loved Dominion Bless"

City's famous beach was still
mostly just a summer resort
with -few motels open in the

in the Toronto Globe and
Mail, drew a number of
Ontario residents that winter.
The friendliness of the
people and the low rates
brought more Canadians the
next year, so more motels
remained open until now,
about 8,000 Canadians and
many from the Northern
states of the U.S. spend their
winters in that area, enjoying
the fine white sand of the Gulf
Beach.
