flourish last Saturday With
many beginners and juniors
passing National Skating
Tests.

Kinsmen to skaters
The Clinton FiSkating
Club will have help offsetting
their $1,000 deficit„thanks to
the Clinton Kinsmen Club
who decided at their March
meeting to give the figure
skaters u$''oodonation.
The Kinsmen also decided
to sponsor family swim
coupons in the local papers
that can be and used
by families far free swim at
the VunuutruSwimming pool.
TheKinymon allocated $300,
to th project.
They will investigate
further howevyr, a request
from the students' council of
Central Huron .Secondary
School to help the students
with construction of tennis
courts at the school. Kinsmen
Gary &8o,nor.Mery 0|� and
Doug Macaulay were ap-
pointed
ppuintod to meet with gtudunt
council president Jan Divok
over the matter.
The Kinsmen also learned
from Gary Merner that the
Canoe Race on April 24, to
raise funds for cystic fibrosis,
will feature a draw for a
ounuu, a wrist wmtcb, and a
-tackle box. '
The Kinsmen also reeeived
a thank -you letter from the
Children's Aid Society for
their donation, and for
helping the Society deliver
the Christmas presents to the
needy

reported that he and Don
Jefferson bad indicated the
Clinton Club's willingness to
reduce to seven from 12. the
number of clubs in the zone.
The new zone would consist of
Exeter, Hensall, Mitchell,
Stratford, St. Marys,
Goderich and Clinton.
