preparations were reviewed
Saturday by the Playhouse
Board.
In the dinner department,
Leo Morningstar, Manager of
the Village Inn, is seeing to
the five-cqurse dinner which
includes a liver pate being
prepared by the head chef at
London's Wellington
Restaurant. Russian -style
Beef Stroganoff with wild
rice; French beans Almon -
dine, topped off with com-
plimentary wirr'es will
complete the main course.
This will be followed by
dessert cheeses and English
trifle.
In the entertainment area,
George . Murray, Patty Gail
and Peter McConnell,
members of the Toronto
Smile Company, will be on
hand to provide a brief
musical review.
James Murphy will an-
nounce the ling -up of plays for
the new season and present
some special Beaux -Art

A -B Authority has
essay, poster contest
The question, "What does
conservation mean to me"
has been asked by the
Ausable-Bayfield Con-
servation Authority of all
grade 7 and 8 students in the
watershed. They can express
themselves by either writing
an essay (250 - 400 words,
double spaced) or by doing a
poster.
There are first, second and
third prizes in each category
plus 10 honourary mention
awards.
The deadline for submitting
the essays and posters is
March 1.7, 1977. Students can
submit their entries directly
to their school or to the
Ausable-Bayfield Con-
servation Authority, Box 459,
.175 Thames Road W., Exeter.
Entrants, please record
your name, grade, school,
address and phone number on
a removable card which you
will attach to your entry.
Presentation of the awards
will be made. Thursday,
March 31, at the Ausable-
Bayfield Conservation
