Holmesville United Church,
also Sunday School, was
cancelled last Sunday due to
the weather.
UCW of the Holmesville
United Church also had to
cancel their February
meeting due to the weather.
Marilyn Davey and
children were to Holmesville
from West Lorne to check in
on dad. Bruce travelled back
to West Loren with his family,
but is back running the stbre
for a few more weeks.
Good to hear Johnny Mac is
home from the hospital again.
Wonder .if Bill Harris and
family still live • in
Holmesville as we can't see
the house when travelling by.
Shirley Norman was home
for the weekend from Kit-
chener.
Get well wishes to Rosetta
who is a patient in Clinton.

dance Saturday evening with
a good attendance, after
getting the snow removed.

The second 4-H meeting
was held at the leaders home
on Monday evening with 7
girls attending. The
president, Mary Jean Betties
conducted the meeting.
The roll call was answered
by showing the pattern,
fabric, trim,, and explaining
each. Secretary and"
treasurers reports were read.
The name for the club was
chosen. ..
The topic was "Getting
ready 'to cut out." Cutting,
marking and alterations were
explained.

Rumours are getting
around that the correspon-
dent from Bird's Eye Centre
goes for nice long cutter
rides.
