But even with a large snow blower, Ward Knox of Queen Street in Clinton is running out of room for the snow. (News -Record photo) The drifts were so high last week, that they nearly buried the south wing of Huronview. All safety exits were keptopen, however. (News -Record photo) 414 A CNR crew shovelled in three tiers to free six engines and a snow plow stuck near Holmesville, last Saturday. Working all night Friday and all day. Saturday, the men were able to free only four engines. The passage between Clinton and Goderich was finally opened Monday. Snow was shovelled fram around the track to the middle of the enbankment, and then passed onto the top of the huge mounds of snow lining both sides of the line. Maynard was one of the overworked, tired highway crew members who worked around the clock to keep the roads open.
