Society for Crippled Children.

Snowarama for Timmy
begins at Hully Gully • in
Varna on Sunday, January 30,
between 8 and 10 a.m.
Interested snowmobilers are
asked to pick up sponsor
sheets from John Wise, Ray
Potter and members of the
Clinton and District
Snowmobile Club. Pre-
registration -will take place -at
Hully Gully on Saturday
afternoon, January -25. There
is no fee for entrants with a
minimum of $15 pledges, buil,-w
a $15. entry fee will be
required of people who do not
acquire $15 in pledges.
The Snowarama raised
over $250,000 for the Society
during the past two winters.
The Crippled Children's
Society sponsors the
Snowarama in conjunction
with the Seaforth and Clinton
Lions Clubs, (local par-

Snowmobile Club. It will be
one of 18 official courses in
Ontario running to raise
funds for the Society's
Timmy.
An estimated. 500 to 1,000
snowmobilers are expected to
participate in the snowarama
which includes 35 members
from a snowmoblie club south
of London.
The route, which begins at
Hully Gully and passes
through Clinton, (about 10
a.m.) Seaforth, Farquahar,
Whalen's corners, (a lunch
stop), Lucan, (refuelling
depot), and back to Hully
Gully, is expected to take 6 to
7 hours to complete.
All participants throughout
Ontario qualify for a draw
sponsored by Air Canada
which allows the winner and
guest to be flown to any
destination serviced by the
airline, with•the air fare paid.

A two -ear accident that
resulted in a total of $1,050
damage last Friday was one
of two accidents Clinton
Police reported for the week.
A car driven by Barbara
Wales of 46 Princess St.,
Clinton was travelling east on
Elma St., when it collided
