picked up over 53,010 this
year, racing locally, and from
34 starts has a standing of
three wins, seven seconds and
five thirds.

Caldwell of Clinton, picked up
his tenth win of the year in the

have to stop racing on

There will be lots of activity
at the Curling Club -for the
- next two or three weeks but it
won't be curling!
Bell Construction moved in
``Tuesday to begin the roof
reno ions that we had to 1o.

on steel p to reinforce the
wooden triangulation on the
trusses. Next week the larger
sections of steel are supposed
to arrive.
So don't count on curling
until at least after January
15th. This of course will cause
the Invitational Mixed Spiel
which was scheduled for the'
15th and 16th of January to be
moved on. Our Bonspiel
Committee has reported that
the new 'date for this spiel will
be February 5th and 6th
Please keep this date in mind.
We hope the renovations
will be done by January 22-23
because the Seaforth Club is
scheduled to host the sub-
division playoffs of the
Seagrams Mixed. Regardless
of whether we host it or not. a
Seaforth entry must be
declared one week prior to
the event, which means that
any club playoffs must be
completed by the 16th of
-January. So far, only one
team from the -club has en-
tered their name in the event.
On Tuesday, Dic. 21 the
Thursday night Mixed. win-
ners played off. Dave Beattie,
with Mary Jean Beattie
Sheila Murray and Roxanne
Brown lost to Bob Wilson's
team with Sharon Wilson, and
Ladies' Afternoon
The Hot Pans have in-
creased their lead in the
Ladies' Tuesday Afternoon
Bowling League standings
with 79 points. The Sinkers
follon with 74, holding a slight
edge over the Pressure
Cookers with 73: The Blen-
ders, with 68. lead the Salad
Queens with 66 and the Micro
Waves with 60.
Nancy Roy had the high
single and triple of 300 and
773, while Rosemary Arm-
strong had the high average
of 208.
YBC Teen
Kirk's Krusaders have
thrust their way into third
place with 58 points in the
YBC Teen League standings.
The Cosa Nostra hold the lead
with 76, outdistancing the
second -place Sunshine
Bowlers with 60. The Stoney
Louts hold fourth spot with 57.
leading the Yo-Yo's with 55
and the Chambermaids with
54.
in the men's division,
Jamie Cooper had the high
single and triple of 247 and
610. Rick Brown had the high
average of, 204. Suzie
liad ad the high
average of 198 in the women's
division. while Deb Cook had
the high single of 257 and
Kelly Colquhoun, the high
triple of 608.
YBC Majors
The YBC Majors standings
remain unchanged from last
week with the Bad News
Bears still hanging in first
place with 68 points. The
Rough Riders hold a- close
second of 67, while the -Rams
hold third place with 66%.
The Winners trail with 5814
points.
Kim Tomkins had the
ladies' high single of 200:
Wendy Gibbings, the high
triple of 529 and Nancy Kuehl,
the high average of 187. Bob
Atkinson had the high single
and average of 308 and 209,
leaving the high triple to Alex
Harrett with 694.
The Windmills with 7 points
have takenover the lead, as
the Clineee-Blyth Bowling

On Monday Dec. 27, the
Seaforth dub hosted the
Seniors division playoffs
because the Vanastra Club
experienced plant dif-
ficulties. The Walkerton
entry from I3A defeated the
Exeter entry from 13 8, two
games to one.
If you know any junior
curlers from other clubs, let
them know about our Junior
Mixed Spiel on Sunday
January 30th.

interim, report dated September 34th. 1976.

Matters relating to the dump truck industry are
yet to be dealt with. Hearings to consider these
mutters will be held in Toronto during the latter
part of January. 1977
