The Kt Epsilon Beta chapter held their Christmas meeting on Pec. 21st at the home of Linda Meade, The meeting began with the opening ritual followed by the roll call and the minutes. The Spring dance to be held irtApril was discussed. There will be a rug bee in January to work on their hooked rug. The members discussed a donation to be given to Huronview, also a $25. donation was given to the Endowment Fund towards supporting the Sick Children's has jriran Hospital in Toronto, and a S:5. donation was sent to the Children's Aid Society. 'the Culture Program was given by Audre Ker np. Audre read from the book, "Christmases in Canada", a couple stories whicai showed' how different parts of Canada` celebrated Cistrnas. Then some Christmas carols were played.: The meeting ended with the clo ing ritual, the mizpah and lunch. Jan Ginn. Marlene Yeo. and Marty Lobb sang as a trio. Rev. J. Oestr-eicher was in charge of the service. The Holm;esville people wer, invited to join Wesley -Willis Church on Christmas Eve for a service. Personals Mr. and Mrs. Harry Credmore attended the Elliott-LaLieberte wedding held at the United Church in Varna. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Betties opened their home for the Snell Christmas with 28 people, -attending. All had a good time. Mr. and Mrs. Don Harris opened their home for Christmas. Guests were: Mr. and Mrs: J. Durnin. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Durnin. London, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Feagan. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hoggart, June and Steve Carter and Kelly, and Donna and Dennis Harris and Jennifer. -On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. -Ross,....Eeagan had all of the above mentioned as guests to a Christmas dinner. He s -predeceased by his- wife, the tornier Christina Mae Adams. a son Eimer Charles in infancy and one brother Charles. Surviving are his four daughters, Mrs. Stapley. (Ethel) Ball, Auburn: Mrs. John (Viola) Sanderson, Blyth; Mrs. Wilmer (Norma) Giousher, Blyth; Mrs. Nelson (Ferne) McClure, Seaforth; eleven grandchildren and two great grandsons. He was an ardent member of Constance United Church and later of Blyth United Church. Services - were conducted Friday, December 24, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. C. Wittich and the Rev. S. McDonald at Tasker's Memorial Chapel, Blyth. Pallbearers were grandsons Elmer Sanderson, Daryk and Daryl Ball, Stewart Glousher, Clayton and Bryan McClure. The flowerbearers were Robert Trick. Randy Machan.
