One minute after coming on
duty Monday morning,
Clinton ' Police Constable
Gary Weir answered a call
about a two -ca accident on
the corner of Albert and John
Streets.
Little did the unsuspecting
constable know, but it would
be the first of four such minor
accidents that he would in-
vestigate that day. A four to
six inch snowfall is said to
have been responsible for the
rash of accidents that in-
cluded one at High and East
Sts., one on Albert St. and one
on Princess. Further details
on the accidents were
unavailable at press time.
In other police news, a two
car accident on Ontario St.
last Thursday, resulted in a
total of 5900 damage. Mur-
dock Morrison of Varna . was
