Hoggart, Darlene Hulley,
Kimberly Wright, Robert
Adams, Claude Cartwright,
Michael Vincent, Robert
Radford, David Whyte and
David Stevenson. The Sunday

presented their white gifts
before the manger.

UCW will, hold their Christ-
mas meeting with a pot luck
dinner at 12:30 on December
14th. Roll call will be a Bible
verse on the Christmas story.
There will be a gift eXtbarige
(no more than 51.50 per gift),
and each member is to bring
a guest.

Tuesday with grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Shobbrook.

Sunday with their daughter.

United Church.
W.I. Card Party
There were 10 tables in play
at the W.I. card party on
Friday night, December 3rd.
Winners were: ladies' high.
Elsie Shobbrook; lone hand,
Myrtle Fairservice; low,
Mrs. Miller.; men's high,
Gordon Murray; lone hand,
Bert Daer; and low, Mac
Sewers.
There will be another card
party in two weeks, on
December 17th at 8:30 p.m.

Rev. Wm. Bennett was 'in
charge of the service which
saw Chris Wise light the
second Advent candle.

We at St. James Church,
Middleton, were saddened
with the news from our
Rector. that Rev. Edward
Jeffery Blake of Harriston
had passed away in Sarnia. ,
Rev. Harrison was
predeceased by a • twin
brother, Rev. Alvin Harrison,
and is survived by a brother,
Charles, living in Sarnia.
Rev. Edward Harrison was
the belove& Hector at St.
Jame t -Atiglidalt Church,
Middlettin, 'from 1957 to 1971,
and was the church's 30th
Rector.
We were also sorry to hear
from our Rector, that Rev.
George Youmatoff is in
London Hospital. We all wish
him well.
The 'board of management
for St. James Church will
meet in the church hall next
Monday evening, December
13th at 8 p.m. sharp.

Suffragan4Bishop of Huron.
On Sunday afternoon, Dr.
and Mrs. Andrew Grindley
had a family gathering at
their home in London. Mr.
and Mrs. Don Middleton,
Mange, Fred and Shelley,
and Mr. and Mrs. David
Middleton, Randy, Chris,
Joanne, and Tracy joined the
other members of the family
in a wonderful celebration to
honour Mrs. Fred Mid-
dleton's 80th birthday.

home for the weekend with
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wise
and family.

surgery in St. Joseph's
hospital, London.

is improving at her home.
