There were a lot of people
who worked long and hard to
get CHSS Drama Club's
"Dirty Work at the
Crossroads" off the ground
last weekend.
Speaking for the cast
members, I would like to
thank the make-up crew
under Mrs. Renshaw ; the
back -stage crew under. Jeff
Hearne; the lighting guys
with Mr. Newnham, the
advertising people under
Mrs. McLay, the costtnne
people helping Miss ienti.v.
Mrs. Robinson' for tickets and
program, Mr. Cull and his
crew who built the set, the
props people under Mrs.
Richmond and Mrs. Giles and
Mr. Jewson, our producer.
A special thanks is in order

and Cathy Penfound on the
flute. •

The 270 High School
Teachers in
Huron County
leaders being elected will
become the core of our new
house system.
The tribes,Cree, Oneida.
Cheyenne and Seneca - will
meet ip different areas of the
school for assemblies. The
current tribe leaders have
worked very hard, but was
felt a new ditnension in the
house system, could be used.
School spirits can be raised
if your -support your tribe and
- with your co-operation, it win
• Exams for students start
the 14th of December. It is the
thing all -students must face
at least twice a year. Let's
wish all CI4SS students best of
luck for the exams.

It appears that Dirty Work
at the Crossroads was a
success! The audience was
more than willing to boo the
villain (Scott Dohertyl and to
cheer at his defeats.

Mrs. Verna Harris, centre, and Harriet Tyndall„ left,
were not the only ladles having to make a hard decision
as to what to buy at the craft table in St. Andrew's
Presbyterian. Church Hall. Saturday's bazaar, tea and •
bake sale attracted a full house. Mabel Hirvey, back to
