We are to write a meal fora
farm family of five for a
whole day following Canada's
Food Guide. We made
Mexican Chili -Rolls which
included cornmeal pancakes
and Kidney Beans. This was
enjoyed by all.
Next meeting is scheduled
to plan for Achievement Day
on January 8 at Seaforth
District High School.

was held on Tuesday,
November 23 at 7:30 p.m. at
the home of Mrs. Peter

Apple crisp was demon-
strated and was enjoyed by
all the girl's. From now on we
will be working towards

Trayelling to London and
the big shopping centres for
Christmas Shopping took up
most of the day and was
completed by having dinner
at the Ponderosa before
returning home. Altogether,
an easy way to get the festive
season started.

Unit 2 of Hensall United
Church Women enjoyed
another evening of bowling at
the Zurich Bowling Lanes on
Saturday night. Record
scores are not marked up but
an evening of Companionsnip
and fun are the chief ad-
vantages. We hope that more
will join us next time we book
up for this activity.

The First Sunday of Advent
was celebrated at the Hensall
United Church on Sunday
morning by lighting the first
Advent candle. The ceremony
was performed by Mrs.
Walter Spencer.
The service was conducted
by the Rev. Don Beck whose
message was called, "Great
Expectations". We have toet
prepared in order that we
may receive the Christmas
Message and this is what
Advent time is for.
During the service the
following members from
other churches were received
into membership: Mr. and
Mrs. Lorne Gackstetter, Miss
Sylvia Morner and Mrs.
Robert Middleton.

played against Goderich
Bantams on Thursday Win-
ning 3-2. In the first period,
Dave Mann seered the first
gdal assisted by Dave
McCreery and later in the
period Kevin Parker scored
unassisted. The second period
was all for Goderich' with
Larry Boyce scoring twice off
Rob- Jeffrey, making a tie*.
