Fred Lawrence, the equipment committee chairman, replied that since the baseball equipment promised through Wintario had not arrived in time, it had been necessary to purchase a set of bases plus enough thanked everyone who had taken part. Lunch was served by Mrs. Dorothy Grange, Mrs. William L. Craig, Mrs. Russel Brindley, Mrs. JointDurnin and Mrs. Ernest Durnin. It was announced that the annual Runny Night will be held on Friday, November 26. SOCIAL NEWS • Mrs. Luella Phillips, Mrs. Fred Phillips and her mother from Mitchell and Mrs. Frank Robinson of Toronto visited one day last week with Mr. William J. Craig. " We are pleased to report that Mrs. Bell Allen has been able to return to her home after a couple of weeks as a patient in Clinton Public Hospital. Mr. and -Mrs. J. A. Brodie of Toronto -spent a few days last week with their cousin, Mrs. Kenneth Scott, Mr. Scott and Eric Scott. The ladies are catering to the Legion men's Remem- brance Day supper on November 12th.
