•the Clinton Figure Skatingl
Club parents and skaters
celebrated -at their fun party -
the Hallowe'en Rummage
Saleand Bake Sale.
Held in the town hall, it
attracted quite a good buying
crowd.
As fast as Carol and Cheryl
Beane set up their decorative
orange pumpkins on the town
hall steps, they had en-
thusiastic buyers. A quick
trip home, and the president's
wife Anne Beane hastily
brought more pumpkin
replacements.
Indoors, a huge display of
mouth watering pastries
were sold at the bake'table.
The rummage sale featured
brisk sales iii used children's,
ladies and men's wear,
household items, toys and
trinkets.
Two racks of special
consignments of many
skating dresses, pants, and,
skates attracted a steady
business of 6 - 12 year olds
trying on "in the fitting
room." There should be a
colourful little fashion show
on ice this Saturday when the
juniors and intermediates
wear their new dresses
bought at the sale.
Dorothy Dupee and her
skating family offered a
