Canada Week, usually held in Goderich,
will be held in the Clinton arena this
year. Goderich will still be sponsoring
the hockey tournament, but because the
arena in that town will still be under
repairs, the Clinton arena will be rented
for that purpose. the third week in
March.
Two represwami 'ves from the
Recreation Committee were present at
the PUC meeting,.Dctober 19, to discuss
water and sewage rates for the
recreation facilities. They will report the
results of that meeting at the next
Recreation Committee meeting to be
held Novernb,er 4.
He A GAY BLADE
It was reported that the ice is in at the
arena and the tile has been laid in the
dressing rooms. The public address
system is working a lot better than last
year and the time clock has been sent
away for repairs.
H. Lobb and Sons have again donated
a tractor to clean up the ice in the arena
this winter.

United Church in Stratford,
was the guest preacher at
Goshen Church Anniversary
on Sunday.
The summer recreation program w
also discussed.. Committee member
Bert Lobb felt that overall the program
was very good, 'with 35 children and
three leaders taking part.
The children had a bike -a -thou where
they raised which was enough
money to pay fr 6a trip to Marineland
and Game Farm in Niagara Falls.
The program will be .reviewed before
it is decided Whether the summer
program will continuenext year.
The arena staff Will receive up to 8150
per person clothing allowance for staff
uniforms for the year 1977, the same as
last year, the Rec.. Committee decided.
