It was suggested that an information sheet published by O.H.A. called INFO be sent to each group that helps staff the hospital cart, to help people become knowledgeable of the present situation of health care today. Recently, Mrs. Rosamond Garrett, P.D.D.G.M. and Mrs. Helen Wells, D.D.G.M. flew to Cleveland, Ohio to be present at the General Grand Chapter. Over 12,000 delegates from all over the *orld were present to witness the installation of Mrs. Mabel Mackerith of Toronto as Most Worthy Grand Matron of the General Grand Chapter of the World. iouings from St. Joe's We wouid like to welcome everyone back for the school year 1976-77 and hope that you'll enjoy reading about what is happening at St. Joseph's .school. Staff changes This ' year brings several changes to our staff. Mrs. G. Vanden Hoven will be teaching grades 3-4 this year. Mrs. F. Craig will teach Gr. 7- 8 as principal's relief. Mr. T. Bulien is our new French teacher. The rest of the staff remains the same as last yeer:kindergarten, Mrs. M.R. Smith; grades 1-2 Mrs. M.P. Smith; grades 5-6 Mrs. N. Holmes; grades 7-8 Mr. A. w Pontswen; Remedial teacher, Miss M. Flannery; music teacher, Mrs. L. Simpson. Student council picked Last week, the students elected their I976-77 Student Council. All students voted in the election. In the grounds of the historic Van Egmont' House, Egmond- ville, Ontario. (1 mile south of Seaforth) The results were as follows: president, Jeff Sch- midt; vice president, John Bradley; treasurer. John Holthuysen; secretary, Margie Dupee: Class representatives are: Gr. I-2, Suzanne MtIsaac, Peter Brand; gr. 3-4. Denise Brand, Shawn Gautreau; gr. 5-6, Jean Brand, Suanne Smith; gr. 7-8, Paul Gautreau, Vince Brochu. Chocolate bar drive As in previous years, our school sells chocolate bars in order to raise funds for Student Council activities, excursions and field trips. We sold 96 dozen bars this year and prizes were given to those students who sold the greatest number of bars.
