A verbal request to
Gooderioh township council to

council for a donation, to help
defray the legal costs and
council requested Mr.
Wheeler to apply in writing
and to attend the next council
meeting to explain the
reasons.
The Lobb -Jenkins drain

it was prepared by the

ETEIRN ENGAGEMENT
"It all depends on the
suppliers of equipment,'" he
explained.
The new station will
operate under the :call letter§
CNN -FM or Stereo 102, and
will broadc?ast.. at 101.7 on the
FM dial, It will have a power
of 22,000 watts and cover all of
Grey, Bruce and Huron
Counties as well as major
portions of Perth and
Wellington Counties.
Among the conditions laid
down. by the CRTC in gran-
ting the licence is a
stipulation that the new
station must provide one half
hour each week of com-
mercial free time tb public
access.
The CRTC also demands
that, because of the owner-
ship association with CFPL
Broadcasting of . London,
Ontario-, -,".-the Wingham
programming must be
distinctly different from that
on CFPL-FM.
The station has conducted a
listener survey on the types of
programming desired but
results have not been
tabulated as vet.
